It is a book on how well the tourism potentials of coastal area can be developed in sustainable way. Its more of academic in nature where the importance of beaches on the global map of tourism been discussed. Various topics such as types of beaches, sustainable tourism principles and indicators, global code of conduct for tourism, sustainable coastal tourism model etc. have been given detail. The model included in this book has been evolved as a result of my research. It has been statistically tested and found fit for the tourism destinations.
