This book contains the information regarding independent and interactive effects of waterlogging and salinity on growth oxidative and carbohydrate metabolism in pigeonpea genotypes. Effects of waterlogging and salinity on pigeonpea root anatomy are also shown with original pictures. This book also explains effect of these stresses on antioxidative enzymes like SOD, CAT, POX, APX, MDHAR, DHAR and antioxidative metabolite like glutathione and ascobate. Carbohydrate metabolism enzymes like sucrose synthase and alcohol dehydrogenase in relation to waterlogging and salinity stress are also discussed.
Savita Duhan passed M.Sc. in Botany at the Botany Department Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra with first division and did my Ph.D. at the Department of Botany and Plant Physiology CCS HAU Hisar. I cleared ICAR SRF in 2014 and also ICAR ARS NET 2015. I had published 22 research papers and 2 book chapters in reputed journals.
