Total 170 medicinal plants are found during the study of North 24-Parganas District of West Bengal, India. All these plants are listed alphabetically with a brief description, flowering and fruiting time, ecology, useful parts, medicinal uses, harvesting time and distribution along with photographs. General account of the district, district profile with the demographic figures and methodology of the work have also been mentioned.

I have completed Masters in Botany from Vidyasagar University, India. I have also acquired Masters in Agriculture out of passion for the subject from University of Calcutta, India.
