Ramadan is a month of fasting among Muslims that change in eating and sleep pattern can cause changes in human health. This study was carried out to observe the effect of fasting in Ramadan on the anthropometry parameters and blood pressure level. The data revealed that Ramadan can improve health promotion and reduce anthropometry (weight loss, BMI, WC, HC) and blood pressure levels. It was obtained that reduction in BMI and HC in men are significantly greater than women. But in different level of education and marital status, no significant change was seen.
I am graduated in miasmatic diploma in 1993 and graduated in statistic in 2000 and graduated in MSc in biostatistics in 2006 and MPH in 2013. I am biostatistics Phd student right now. I am staff in medical university and working on some project in cardiovascular filed.
