Summary:
Nano is a Greek word, which means small in size. Nanotechnology is a emerging multidisciplinary area used in material science biology, industry, agriculture, medicine, engineering, green chemistry, physics etc. The metal nanoparticles (NPs) were produced like copper, copper oxide, silver, silver oxide, gold, zinc, zinc oxide etc, are broadly studied for their antimicrobial and anticancer activities. The plant extract which contains the reducing agents. These are responsible for the metal ions to form the corresponding NPs for its improved biological properties. The utilization of metal NPs in biomedical applications are due to its biocompatibility and better antimicrobial properties.
