Full mouth Rehabilitation posses a significant challenge to dentistry. To get better functional and esthetics outcomes one need to follow various prosthodontic concepts and principles. The ultimate goal of dentistry is to increase the life span of functioning dentition just as the goal of medicine is to increase the life span of functioning individual. Apprehension involved in reconstruction for debilitated dentition are heightend by widely divergent views concerning the appropriate procedure for successful treatment. Most philosophies and associated techniques for full mouth rehabilitation shows similar features based on an author specific philosophy of occlusion. Attrition of teeth is very common in routine clinical examination.Many times patients are unaware about the ongoing process and realise it only when sufficient loss of tooth structure has already been occured. Various factors such as vertical dimension of occlusion, centric relation, occlusal pattern, esthetics and phonetic needs to be considered simultaneously for both anterior and posterior teeth during rehabilitation.
Dr Saurabh Shrivastava has completed his masters in Prosthodontics, Crown and Bridge in 2015. Since then he is successfully running his clinic and has completed several full mouth rehabilitation Cases. He had also delivered lectures on FMR at various places. Currently he is working as assistant professor in Mansarovar Dental College Bhopal.
