This book is devoted to the problem of automation and integration of information processes in science and education. The history of the development of modern science and technology is associated with multidisciplinarity in scientific research and creation of research teams working in large projects. However, the current state of effectiveness of this work and integration does not fit current requirements. Therefore new approaches are needed for solving the above mentioned problem. In this work the analysis of the existing experience of using the distributed registry technology in various fields is conducted, the main features of the technology are considered for making decisions about its application in scientific informational activities, specific examples of its use and efficiency analysis are provided.
