Aquaculture is gaining more importance because of the competing demand prevailing on the international market. The production of aqua beings is very low and can not meet the rising demands for aqua products on the international market. The decreasing production of the aqua beings is due to the problem of pollution, increased exploitation and so on. Nowadays, there is a remarkable increase in the aquaculture farming with the rising demand for the aqua foods, plants, and other sea products. The aqua beings are reared in an enclosed environment to meet the competitive demands over them. In these enclosed environments, there are few factors like temperature, dissolved oxygen, PH, salinity, ORP, and other parameters of the water that contribute towards the growth of the aquaculture.To enable the healthy growth of aquaculture, monitoring these water quality parameters is becoming a necessity. Wireless Sensor Networks are widely used for monitoring the water quality parameters through the distribution of the sensors in the aqua environment for effective monitoring.
