In this book are presented two scientific papers. The first one is dealing with Refugees from the Middle East that entered European Union through the Balkan Route in 2016. The author presented a case study of refugees while working for UNHCR. The second one is dealing with reform of security sector where the author presented two case studies, one from Serbia while working for OSCE in reform of Police Service and another one from Kosovo while working for UNKT/UNDP in tackling the Gender Based Violence.
Fadil Isufi is a PhD student at the Faculty of Security, Skopje, North Macedonia. His professional career encompasses different projects with international organizations like: ICRC, OSCE and UN agencies (UNDP, UNHCR, etc) in times of armed conflict and post conflict as well as development context in the region of the Balkans (Serbia and Kosovo).
