Now a days demand for electrical power is increasing with the ever expanding global population. It is necessary to use renewable energy sources to full load demand due to its cost effectiveness. The role of renewable energy has been recognized as great significance for global environmental concern. Hydropower is one of the efficient renewable energy source. This project is focusing on generation of electrical energy from one of such renewable source present in agriculture field. Electrical energy is obtained by using kinetic energy of water discharging from agriculture pump. It includes the design of appropriate turbine-generator prototype model and the coupling mechanism. The generated power is sufficient to run a single phase AC load. A sensor system with Arduino controller is used to sense water moisture content in soil and controls the operation of motor.

I am Prof. Vijay Shrinath Patil. I have completed graduation from Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon in 2000 and Post-Graduation from Sant Gadage Baba Amravati University, Amravati in 2008. Now, I am persuing Ph.D in Electronics from Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.
