Aquaculture means farming of fish. This is also known as Aquafarming. Though there are several books available on fishery but that particular book has been written in a concise and student friendly way. It comprises 7 different chapters that covers different aspects of Aquaculture viz. apart from Aquaculture there are Aquarium fish keeping, composite fish culture, induced breeding, integrated fish farming, prawn culture and Exotic fish and their roles in India. So, readers can understand the values of different aspects of Aquaculture.In addition, in some chapters necessary pictures have been provided for better understanding.
The author completed M.Sc. & Ph.D. from University of Calcutta. He is presently absorbed as Lecturer & Head, Department of Zoology, Muralidhar Girls' College, Kolkata, India. Besides, worked as former Guest lecturer at Vidyasagar College. In addition, received several awards viz. Junior scientist award, IASR excellence award etc.
