The book presents a way to improve real and reactive power in a power system using a FACTS device Unified Power Quality Conditioner. The UPQC has two inverters that is one series inverter and a shunt inverter. The book represents how UPQC is designed to reduce harmonics and improve the power quality of the power system. Power Quality improvement is most needed in modern day world to supply uninterrupted and quality power.
