The present investigation was carried out on three plant species of Asteraceae namely, Glossocardia Bosvallea, Siegesbeckia Orientalis, and Spilanthes Acmella. Tissue culture protocol developed and the phytochemical analysis are presented here.

Dr. Geetha R. (M.Sc Botany, M.Ed.) is working as a TGT in Biology, Demonstration School, RIE (NCERT), Mysuru. She is a Passionate Teacher of Biology with diverse interests in Biotechnology. She has been awarded P.hD in Botany in the year 2010 under the Guidance of Prof. G.V. Gopal from RIE, Mysuru, University of Mysuru, India.
