Nowadays the importance of oil and gas and their difficulties in the world are not hidden from anyone.In addition to exploring, exploiting and refining, exportation is also important since having a small error can cause harm to the economics of the owner or destination countries.In order to reduce these errors, in this project by using suitable instruments and appropriate designing methods, a metering station with a capacity of 5200m3/h for the use of condensation is presented.First we evaluated a type of flow metering based on the fact that our product must be transferred from the refinery tanks to the buyer ship. Afterwards there is the dynamic liquid metering. Then three types of flow meters: PD meter, turbine and ultrasonic are discussed. According to the flow profile and the need of high accuracy we choose the ultrasonic flow-meter in the next step by studying provers and auto samplers.At the end, the designing process is accomplished based on the previous steps. Firstly we use the PFD map. After that the design is completed by adding the specifications and the size of the tools which we have been used. Finally the P&ID map is drawn completely.
